Prof. Deng Shixiong was named vice president of Chongqing Medical University in September 2004, and was assumed as Deputy Secretary of CQMU Communist Party Committee in April 2018. He currently serves as the dean of Rehabilitation Hospital of CQMU and the director of the Management Committee of Jinyun Campus of CQMU.
Prof. Deng is a Chongqing Academic Technology Leader, and a Chongqing Young and Middle-aged CoreTeacher.
He is also the chairman of the Chongqing Judicial Appraisal Association, the vice chairman of the Chongqing Forensic Medicine Association, the member of the Medical Education Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the chairman of the clinical group of the Medical Education Branch of the Chinese Higher Education Association, the vice chairman of the China Integrative Medical Education Association, etc.
