Mr. Yuan Jun was appointed Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Medical University Committee and Vice President of Chongqing Medical University in March 2025.
He did his undergraduate study in Clinical Medicine and graduate study with a Master degree both in CQMU.
In 2008, he was trained in the "Senior Seminar on University Administration and Management" at Ritsumeikan University, Japan.
He obtained professional title of Associate Researcher in 2012 and Researcher in 2020.
Mr. Yuan’s previous work experiences and administrative titles:
Director of the Office of Scientific Research at CQMU;
Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Chongqing Medical University Committee and Vice President of the University;
Secretary of the Party Committee of its Second Affiliated Hospital;
Standing Committee Member of the Health Science Popularization Branch of the Chinese Medical Association;
National Committee Member of the Medical Science and Technology Management Branch of the Chinese Medical Association;
Deputy Secretary-General of the Chongqing Medical Association;
Outstanding Individual in Management by the National Natural Science Foundation of China;
Outstanding Individual in University Science and Technology Management by the Ministry of Education of China.
