On March 12, 2021, Professor Huang Ailong's team of Key Laboratory of Molecular Biology for Infectious Diseases, Ministry of Education, Chongqing Medical University, together with the team from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Tsinghua University, led by professor Hu Zeping, jointly published a paper titled Integrated cytokine and metabolite analysis reveals immunometabolic reprogramming in COVID-19 patients with therapeutic implications in Nature Communications. Co-first authors include Xiao Nan, Nie Meng, Pang Huanhuan, and Wang Bohong, the post-doctors or doctors from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as Hu Jieli, a researcher from Key Laboratory of Molecular Biology for Infectious Diseases. Professor Hu Zeping from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Professor Huang Ailong and Professor Tang Ni from Key Laboratory of Molecular Biology for Infectious Diseases are co-corresponding authors. The research has been supported by programs including COVID-19 Emergency Response Research Program of Chongqing Bureau of Science and Technology and Chongqing Medical University, and National Major Project in Infectious Diseases.
