Professor JIN Aishun and the researchers from a Japanese team jointly discovered a new mechanism of T cell activation and developed a new technology for rapid screening of functional TCR

On April 8, Professor JIN Aishun from the College of Basic Medicine of CQMU and Kishi Hiroyuki, Atsushi Muraguchi, Kobayashi Eiji, and others from Department of Immunology of University of Toyama, published an article in the top journal Nature Biomedical Engineering. They had discovered a new mechanism of antigen recognition by T cells, and based on this, a new techniques for rapid screening of tumor-specific T cell receptor (TCR) and TCR-T cell immunotherapy have been developed.
