Professor LI Qifu’s team from the Endocrinology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of CQMU published a paper titled "Prevalence and Characteristics of Adrenal Tumors in an Unselected Screening Population: A Cross-Sectional Study" in Annals of Internal Medicine, one of the most influential medical journals in the world. The research revealed the prevalence and characteristics of adrenal tumors in an unselected screening population for the first time, providing evidences for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Professor LI Qifu, Professor LV Fajin, and Associate Professor YANG Shumin are the corresponding authors of the paper, and JING Ying, a PhD candidate, Dr. HU Jinbo, Professor LUO Rong, and Dr. MAO Yun are the first co-authors.
