Recently, QIN Junchuan (Class of 2021, five-year Clinical Medicine program), ZHOU Jinyu (Class of 2024, five-year Clinical Medicine program), and CHEN Jiajia (Class of 2022, five-year Clinical Medicine program) from the First Clinical College of Chongqing Medical University, under the guidance of the Experimental Teaching Management Center team led by Professor ZHU Shu and ZANG Guangchao, successfully designed a dual-crystalline bimetallic MOF. By innovatively coupling ORR catalytic activity with ECL signals, they developed a novel luminescent material with intramolecular self-catalytic functionality, enabling ultrasensitive detection of disease biomarkers. Their research paper, titled "Intramolecular Switching Oxygen Reduction Reaction Driven by Dual-crystalline Bimetallic MOF Induces Self-Potential-Resolved Electrochemiluminescence Biosensor," was published online in the prestigious international journal Angewandte Chemie International Edition.

This research was supported by the Chongqing Medical University Excellent Medical Student Top-notch Innovative Talent Tutorial System Project (EMTS) as a key cultivation initiative.
