Breast cancer is one of the malignant tumors with the highest incidence among females. Early diagnosis and standardized treatment are critical for improving the survival rate of breast cancer. With strengthened international exchanges and cooperation and enhanced clinical application of new drugs, new technologies and latest research results are conducive to improving breast cancer prevention and treatment in China.
The Sino-France (International) Breast Cancer Forum has been held for eight sessions biennially since 2004, and the Reconstructive Surgery of Breast（the Surgical Programme in Chongqing）has been held nine times since 2011. Experts of breast cancer from France, Italy, the United States, and other countries, together with Chinese experts, made impressive academic reports on the hot issues and challenges in basic and clinical research such as the early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of breast cancer and the demonstration of breast reconstruction surgery for breast cancer patients.
The Forum serves as an excellent academic exchange platform to promote international communication on breast cancer research advances and its diagnosis and treatment technology. Therefore, the Forum is popular in China and widely regarded by the industry as a game-changer at the forefront of international basic and clinical research of breast cancer. It has become one of the most important academic events in the field of breast cancer in China.
