On March 11, the final of the first @Chongqing@World"TALK IN Chongqing" Foreign Language Speech Contest was held, hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and Chongqing Hualong Newsnet Group. Two first-place prizes were awarded to contestants from the First Affiliated Hospital of CQMU. Wang Wujiao (a Ph.D. candidate in ophthalmology) won first place in the university group, Dr. Mu Jun (a neurologist) won first place in the vocational group, Cheng Qiqiao, (from the equipment division of the hospital) won the third-place prize in the vocational group, and Qi Jibin (an officer at the Graduate Administration Office) won the award of excellence in the vocational group.
In August 2022, the first ever @Chongqing @The World “TALK IN Chongqing” Foreign Language Speech Contest was held. This event aims to strengthen the capacity of international communication to better tell China’s stories, spread the voice of China, and present an image of China that is credible, appealing, and respectable. Eight contestants from the First Affiliated Hospital of CQMU expressed their love and passion for their occupations, the city of Chongqing, and China by telling their work and life experiences via video.
