From August 19th to August 22nd, the 2023 "Belt and Road" competition for international undergraduates on Innovation Research & Experimental Design in Basic Medical Sciences, which was sponsored by the basic medicine group of Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Educational Institutions and Collaborative Education Working Group for Innovation Research & Experimental Design in Higher Education Institutions Basic Medical Sciences, and hosted by CQMU, Harbin Medical University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine was successfully concluded at the Jinyun campus of CQMU. During this same period, a symposium on exchanges between Chinese and Russian universities was held, as well as the final round of the Ninth national undergraduate competition on Innovation Research & Experimental Design in Basic Medical Sciences for higher vocational and technical college.
This forum takes the construction of new medical science as the lead, promotes higher education institutions to implement the education concept of student-centered, focusing on the educational philosophy that emphasizes competency-based quality development, and strengthens the training of college students in autonomous original and innovative scientific thinking and experimental skills. The forum will link up with countries along the "Belt and Road" and strives to build a platform for students to demonstrate their innovative ability and skills in basic medical research, promote the integration of race and education, science and education, information sharing and platform construction, as well as realize complementary advantages, development and mutual benefits to accelerate the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" construction. At the same time, the event is an opportunity to facilitate the coordination and innovation of vocational education, higher education and continuing education, optimize the positioning type of vocational education and vigorously train technical and skilled personnel.
