RESEARCH INTERESTS

Professor Song Fangzhou is mainly engaged in functional and applied research on important human functional genes, especially malignant tumor related genes such as NFBD1, MCHR2, PRR11, IL-18, IL-24, HPV-16 E6/E7, etc. The latest research techniques in molecular medicine, such as RNAi, have been used to systematically study the functions of these new genes at the molecular, cellular, and individual levels, elucidating their biological functions and molecular behavioral mechanisms in the occurrence and development of diseases such as malignant tumors. And on this basis, further use genetic engineering and other technical means to carry out applied research on human disease diagnosis, gene therapy, and drug development targeting these functional genes. In addition, we will focus on conducting differential proteomic research on benign, borderline, and malignant tumors of the female reproductive system (cervical and ovarian), providing new targets for their treatment.
