WORKING EXPERIENCE

Professor Yan has been teaching at the Department of Bioanalytical Chemistry in the School of Laboratory Medicineat Chongqing Medical University since 1991.Yan delivers lectures on six courses including Sanitary Chemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry and Proteomics, covering undergraduate, master’s and adult education programs.

Surface Plasmon Resonance and Molecular Diagnostics.

Biosensing and Nanotechnology.

Electrochemical Analysisand Liquid Biopsy.

 

HONOUR & AWARDS

Professor Yan has successfully led more than ten provincial and ministerial-level scientific research, including the National Natural Science Foundation projects, Chongqing Natural Science Foundation projects and Chongqing Municipal Education Commission’s scientific research achievement transformation projects. Yan has been granted 12 national invention patents. Yan has published 50 high- quality SCI papers in internationally renowned journals such as ACS Appl Mater Interfaces, J. Nanobiotechnol, ACS sens, Biosens.Bioelectron, Chem. Commun, with 30 papers having an Impact Factor (IF) exceeding 5. Yan has trained 24 master’s degree students, with 17 of them having graduated and 7 currently in progress. Yan serves as a peer reviewer for journals such as Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Analytica Chimica Acta, Sensors andActuators B, Microchimica Acta, etc. Yan was honored with the First Prize of Chongqing Natural Science in 2017 (5/5).
