Work involves pharmaceutical application of supramolecular host compounds, in vivo fate of nanodrugs and pharmaceutical research of medicine for children.

·Developing personalized cancer vaccine based on surface protein on cell membrane.

Work involves synthesis of host molecules, characterization of host-guest chemistry, decoration of host molecules, fabrication and characterization of nanoparticles, cellular experiments, pharmacokinetics, biocompatibility in mice model, antidotal effects in mice, personalized cancer vaccine preparation, antitumor immune response evaluation in vitro and in vivo, therapeutic efficacy evaluation in mice, gallstone model establishment and anti-cholelithiasis efficacy evaluation.

·Developing an orally drug delivery system using Yeast as carriers for ultimate targeting atherosclerotic lesions.

·Developing the reactive oxygen species (ROS) and pH responsive nanoparticles as drug delivery vehicles for therapy of atherosclerosis and tumor.

·Constructing a rapamycin loaded self-assembly microsphere mediated by a carboxyl-bearing compound and poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) and demonstrated its effectiveness of treating atherosclerosis by oral route.

·Work involves fabrication and characterization of nanoparticles, biocompatibility evaluation if nanoparticles in cellular model, cellular uptake of nanoparticles, biocompatibility evaluation of drugs in mice model, pharmacokinetics study, tissue-organ imaging, distribution of nanoparticles in organs and cells, anti-atherosclerosis, and anti-tumor evaluation.

Focus was on the development of generic drug products of solid oral dosage forms. Work involves formulation development, tablets and capsules preparation, scale-up of manufacturing process, control of dissolution and stability of products.
