RESEARCH INTERESTS
The team led by Professor Yu has long been engaged in research on the mechanism of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and glycobiology, drug metabolism and kinetics, nanomedicine and biosensing technology for clinical translation and application. In recent years, he has presided over 1 national scientific and technological major project, 3 national projects, 6 provincial and ministerial key projects, and more than 20 other projects at various levels. Professor Yu’s team has innovatively applied micro-nanopremedicine and mechanosensor technology to the non-invasive, rapid and visualized diagnosis and treatment of major diseases, and developed a series of nano-drugs and nano-sensor detection technology by breaking through the traditional means of drug delivery and detection methods and technology in complex systems; in the basic research of cardiovascular diseases, has discovered a new mechanism of regulation of glucose metabolism (especially sialic acid metabolism) and post-translational modification of key functional proteins in the physiological and pathological regulation. The related research results has been published in the top journals of related fields, such as Adv Sci., Autophagy, Chem Eng J., Biomaterials, Biosens Bioelectron, Carbon, ACS Appl Matr Inter、Atherosclerosis、Free Radic Biol Med, etc. totaling more than 200 scientific papers.
