Dr. Chen had been committed to the research on the health adverse effects and prevention strategies for environmental metal pollutants as well as the new emerging pollutants, such as metal nanomaterials. He had published more than 50 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, including 1 article with an impact factor of more than 20, and 6 papers with an impact factor more than 10, and 38 papers in JCR-1 area. All these articles were cited more than 1600 citations (Google scholar), H-index 22. He had supported by 23 grants, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chongqing Natural Science Foundation, Chongqing Young Talent project etc. His research achievements had been awarded the APS Select Award by the American Physiological Society, and have been included in two European government agency guidelines, two academic consensus guides.
