WORKING EXPERIENCE

Professor Hongwei Dai has been working in the Stomatological Hospital of Chongqing Medical University since 1985, serving as resident physician, attending physician, associate chief physician,chief physician successively. He is also a professor of the Stomatological Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. He has served as deputy director and director of the Department of Orthodontics and director of the Orthodontics Teaching and Research Department of the Stomatological Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Since 2003, he has been the vice president of the Stomatology Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.

 

RESEARCH INTERESTS

1. Orthodontic clinical techniques.

2. Basic and applied research on root resorption associated with orthodontic tooth movement and periodontal regeneration.

3. Study on the treatment and related mechanism of temporomandibular joint osteoarthropathy

 

HONOUR & AWARDS

Professor Hongwei Dai has won the first prize of Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Chongqing Medical Science and Technology Achievement, the third prize of Chongqing Medical Science and Technology Achievement, and the third prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Chinese Stomatology Association. He has published more than 30 academic papers, among which 8 are indexed by in SCI. He has published two orthodontic translations as the main translator: Early-Age Orthodontic Treatment and Principles of Clinical Design and Application of Orthodontic Retainers and Mobile Orthodontic Appliances. And he has undertaken 7 provincial and ministerial level projects, including 1 sub-project of the Ministry of Science and Technology's national key research and development Project.
