RESEARCH INTERESTS
Professor Liu Beizhong has been engaged in research on leukemia diagnosis and treatment targets. As a doctoral supervisor and postdoctoral collaborator, Professor Liu is a reserve candidate for academic and technological leaders in Chongqing, as well as a project evaluation expert from the National Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2021, he was selected as a leading talent for innovation and entrepreneurship in Chongqing.
Professor Liu has presided over and completed over 30 sub projects of the National 863 Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, etc. Professor Liu has published over 200 papers in core journals both domestically and internationally, including over 60 SCI papers. As a deputy editor in chief or editorial board member, Professor Liu has written and officially published 13 national planning textbooks and academic monographs, as well as 3 national planning CAI courseware. Professor Liu has won more than 20 national, provincial, and ministerial awards for teaching and technological achievements, as well as 10 publicly disclosed or authorized national invention patents and 5 utility model patents.
