Fangliang is engaged in research on affective disorders and non-human primate behavior, and participated in the national 973 project (2009CB918300)". Chaired and completed the National Natural Science Foundation of China " Regulation and molecular mechanism research on hippocampus of depressed cynomolgus monkeys induced by BDV infection" (#81601207); The project of the 61st batch of National Postdoctoral Foundation (2017M612923); Postdoctoral Fund second special funding of one, provincial and ministerial level and other projects 5. He has published more than 30 international influential SCI papers and obtained 2 authorized patents.
