    College of Nursing Holds “Visiting Enterprises to Expand Employment Opportunities” Exchange Seminar

    To further deepen the linkage between the university and hospitals, enhance the effectiveness of collaborative education and promote high-quality employment of graduates, on 28 April, 2025, the College of Nursing at Chongqing Medical University held a “Visiting Enterprises to Expand Employment Opportunities” exchange seminar.

    Vice President GE Ping of Chongqing Medical University attended the meeting. Also present were YE Xinmei, Director of Nursing at the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, LIU Aihong, Deputy Director of Nursing, and JI Fangfang, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department. The meeting was chaired by MOU Shaoyu, Party Secretary of the College of Nursing, and attended by Dean MI Jie.

    GE Ping extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, noting that both institutions have a profound heritage, distinctive features and outstanding strengths. She expressed her hope that the College of Nursing would use this exchange as an opportunity to actively build a good platform for talent training and employment entrepreneurship, to learn from each other, develop together and strive to promote high-quality and full employment of our university’s graduates.

    YE Xinmei introduced the development history, hospital positioning and hospital culture of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. She affirmed the capabilities and qualities of the students from Chongqing Medical University and welcomed the university’s graduates to join the hospital’s nursing team.

    MOU Shaoyu said that the school places great emphasis on graduate employment and hopes that through this “visiting enterprises to expand employment opportunities” special activity, it can further understand the hospitals' employment needs and build an employment platform for graduates.

    MI Jie introduced the history, current development, talent training system and achievements of the College of Nursing at Chongqing Medical University.

    Participants discussed in depth issues related to strengthening university-hospital cooperation and promoting graduate employment. Staff members from the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and the College of Nursing at Chongqing Medical University attended the meeting.
