Postgraduate Program

College of Basic Medicine annually recruits 20 to 25 doctors and over 100 masters for graduate program. These doctors and masters can choose majors such as Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Immunology, Pathogen Biology, Pathology and Pathophysiology, Forensics, Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Cell biology.

Several disciplines for graduate students in the college are first-level disciplines and four disciplines (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Immunology and Molecular Biology, Neuroscience and Cognitive Science) are among the top one percent of the ESI ranking. The college also has a post-doctoral research station in Basic Medicine. Basic Medicine and Biology is also a key discipline among Chongqing top 'Key Disciplines'.
