Postgraduate Program

The postgraduate education in the hospital is mainly clinical medicine, with complete disciplines, covering the following13 specialties: internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, critical medicine, ophthalmology, psychiatry and mental health, rehabilitation medicine and physical therapy, anesthesiology, clinical pharmacy, and applied psychology. It is staffed with an excellent supervisor team comprised of 1 doctoral supervisor and 27 master supervisors. In 2019, a total of 134 master students and 3 doctoral students were recruited, and 71 postgraduate students have successfully graduated.

At present, postgraduate education offers 3 basic courses and 11 core courses for graduate students. The 3 basic courses are"medical basis and frontier", "psychometrics", and"advanced psychological research methods". At present, 10 projects have been approved for funding for postgraduate quality engineering projects at the provincial and ministerial level including Chongqing graduate training joint base construction project, and 3 projects have been approved at the school level.
